my past week has been spent living off of endless cups of seven-eleven & starbucks coffee (isn't customizable coffee amazing btw? especially when you have a plethora of flavors and syrups to choose from. heavenly.) and unusual sleep patterns. i wore this outfit to snuggle up in a barnes and noble aisle today. fall/winter clothing beats summer clothing by a landslide for me for comfy layering purposes. mmm. ♥
i felt like experimenting with some outfits instead of working on college application supplements. sigh.
i'm kind of in the mood to make a million notepad files keeping track of what's been going on with my days. everything feels like a blur, and i don't like it. :[

i wanted to focus the collage on my sister rather than myself; i think she's a lot more beautiful, anyway. :P today was a really lovely day, filled with tofurky and apple (!!!) pie and sweet potatoes, mmmm.
i hope everyone, americans & international folk alike, had an awesome day. :]
i'm going to take a trip to soho tomorrow for some basics, but i'm a little nervous about getting caught in the black friday whirl. wish me luck, aaah.

this week has sucked so horribly, with the exception of today. this saturday has been such a mixture of emotions, but connecting with good friends always gives me a good feeling inside.

this took me way too long to put up, but i've had the most emotionally ridiculous school week of the year, jesus! so glad it's over. i clearly attained plans for halloween... ;D i went trick or treating with my friend, joe, and his little sister, vanessa/bby v. we then mall-raided into the nighttime. it was a really sweet day.♥

the sad truth is that i have absolutely zero cool plans for halloween this year. it's getting so pathetic that i'm planning on asking to work a shift on the 31st. i am not kidding you. maybe i'll drown my sorrows in martha stewart reruns and perhaps bake multiple pumpkin pies while i'm at it. we'll see. for now, i'm sort of basking in teenage fling-ism & crushes. great stuff. ;D

this week feels like such a big blur: comic con, pep rally, wild things, antigone, flirting... my head and my legs and my body feel numb, but it all feels kind of great. ♥
i came across a drawer in my room filled with assorted hats this afternoon. here are a few random ones i picked up for pictures:
the fuzzy one is my favorite. it's so cuddly! lol @ the baseball cap.. i must've found five of them in my drawer. where did they come from!? i haven't been to a game since i was 7.

i have a confession to make.
i used to be very anti-american apparel. i felt that their advertisements were ludicrous, & i thought that the idea of basic garments/colors/styles was overrated. until i learned more about what goes into making the clothes and actually tried on a few pieces, as well... and now i'm a little obsessed. :x
i am so psyched to say that school this year is going to be awesome (for once...!?). i have loads of work to do, but i'm legitimately excited... does this mean that i'm reaching a new level of nerd? hmm.
p.s.: photoshop is amazing. seriously.
hello school, good-bye freedom. :[ i spent a majority of my last free day cooking vegan/vegetarian meals in bulk for lunch. i'm trying to not dread being back in high school for my last year, but it's pretty difficult.

the barely-visible background is a drawing from a gorillaz promotion (shut up, i love them.. :P) & the sleeveless shirts in the corner are from yes-style. they are on mega sale, so definitely get them if you think they're as cool as i do.. unfortunately, like a true lame-o, i placed an order on the oxfords in the collage without checking for anything else i might have wanted. fail. -_- snippets of random sketches are peeking through; my lack of motivation to do anything productive this year is killing me. i made red velvet cupcakes today, though.. and that was very time consuming, but rewarding.
...i did not mean to make such a long dialogue.. this is what sleep deprivation does to me.

what is it about blythe dolls that are so creepy but so lovable? they're the kinds of toys you can't stop staring at, partly in fear and partly in fascination... weird, weird stuff.

i wish i could tell you more about what this means other than the fact that i enjoy making collages that get some of my random thoughts out:
the background is from tekkon kinkreet, which is currently my biggest obsession. it's so raw/interesting/real. if you haven't gotten the chance to read it, add it to your list.
on a different note, i saw a really awesome pair of hoof shoes at a store called mix on warren street. have not stopped thinking about them since and now i have strong desires to go back and get them... how am i going to explain this to my parents? hmmm.
